Memories flashed of every moment Celestia gleefully came back from her duties, giving no heed to her sisters pain.ĭefeat sunk through every bone in Luna's body, making her feel as brittle as glass, and heavy as iron. Luna froze, as she was completely ignored. "I've done my part sister, I'll let you do yours." Celestia smiled, tucking her wings away before walking past her damp cheeked sister. "Sister?" Luna whispered, locking her gaze to the beautiful alicorn. The tears streaming down her face slowed, but didn't stop, as Celestia landed on the balcony of the castle her elegant wings spread and her lavish pink hair flowing under a cold breeze. "They do not love my beautiful night! They are happy in sister's sun, but ignore us and our night! Why do they shun our gift, we strive yo make so beautiful!" why would they do this to me." as more tears streaked her face, she scuffed harder at her old prints, falling to the surface of the castles dead rock floor, soaking it in her tears. As she landed, and walked into the first room of the tower, she started to weakly scuff at the previous hoof marks she had dug into the floor of her room, from several what, days? Weeks? She had lost her sense of time by watching equestria come and go as a distant flicker that she held no part of. A few tears started to trickle down her cheeks, as she silently flew back to her castle. Luna watched in dismay, as Celestia shrugged off the thank yous and blessings, till she couldn't take it anymore. The crowd seemed saddened at the end of their day, as if they didn't want to go home instead just wanting to enjoy the day more. Thank you so much for coming to canterlot today." Celestia smiled, her presence just as bright as her sun. "Alright alright my ponies, the day has come to an end. Questions continuously shot towards her sister, until it the sun had finally begun to set. But not a single pony came her way.Īs the hours of the day waxed, and the sun drooped further into the sky, Luna slowly sank into her chair, hiding herself in the shadow. Hooves raised and voices yelled for her attention, while luna's half of the courtyard was as barren and quiet as a cemetery. Hundreds of unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies lept at the sight of dear princess Celestia. as always, constructive criticism is always welcome <3īoth princesses stood proudly above their decorative podiums in the courtyard, ponies from all over the nation gathering around to bask in their majesty, to ask questions, or to just pilgrimage to the capital. some of them are finished, some are works in progress. go a month, writing a new story every day, (500 words on days i worked, 1000 words son days i was off) with a theme given to me by my friend gothicvixen-autumn during this time, i banned myself from any videogames and computer, limiting myself to books and skype mobile to chat with friends on occasion.Īlthough i failed the challenge, i decided to upload my work here now.
